Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Your photographs are very important to me, so I do my best to make my clients’ experience an effortless pleasure from start to finish.

My approach is very simple: I like to let the day unfold, observing and capturing the moments rather than orchestrating them. I shoot with professional digital Canon equipment, which allows me to shoot an unlimited number of photos creating unique images that supplement the standard images of the day. I have documented hundreds of weddings since I started shooting weddings in 2004 and earned a degree in photojournalism from Columbia College Chicago before that.

After my own wedding in 2005, I gained a unique perspective from being on the other side of the camera! Because I was a bride, I realize what a whirlwind your wedding day will be. Your photographs are one of the few things left after the big day is over. Your flowers wilt, your cake is devoured, your guests go home, only your photographs remain.

I also love capturing all the everyday moments in your life following your wedding, whether that be a maternity, infant, toddler, family or a-day-in-the-life-of photo session. I enjoy having lifelong clients.

Thank you for considering Alders Photography. If you like my work, I would love to meet you to discuss your event.

Your photos are amazing….truly. My cousin Hank had his wedding in Columbia and I just saw the pictures. wow. Are you from the Massachusetts area (where hank is from). Do you travel to take photos often? Do you ever travel to Kansas City? (that would be too much to hope for…)
