Underwater Engagement Photography | Nicole & Broc

So I have been dying to bring you this post for over two months now and finally here it is!!  My clients and I both saw an underwater engagement shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes and they instantly wanted to do it themselves!  I cannot believe how well it turned out!  Nicole and Broc were like fish, twisting, turning, diving, smiling and looking into the camera, all in a crystal clear pool.  It simply blows my mind how photogenic they were underwater.  Broc and Nicole, thank you, thank you, thank you!  Also a big shout out to Sacha Blue.  When figuring out how I was going to do this, I found her website and emailed her an annoying amount of questions.  She was so kind to take the time to not only email me but also to call me and answer every single question and then some!  There are not enough photographers like you Sacha!  Thank you!  For those of you that are curious, I used an Ewa-Marine SLR camera bag and it works like a charm!  I would strongly recommend it!  If you are interested in an underwater engagement session, an underwater trash the dress session, or any other underwater wedding shoot, I would be happy to do it again!  Enjoy!

Destination Wedding Photography | Colorado Springs | Megan & Nathan | Day After Session

*I’m reposting everything from my old blog here on my new blog.  Call me neurotic, but I like to have everything all in one place.  So if you’ve seen this post before, my apologies.  New things will be here soon!

Often times a bride and groom will opt to do a photo shoot after the wedding. There are several reasons to do this. They can use the opportunity to do a shoot together that they didn’t have time for, the bride can do things she may not have on the wedding day because she is no longer concerned about the dress getting dirty, and the couple can shoot in a location different from their wedding day venue. Also, I try to fit this in to every destination wedding I do since I may not get the opportunity to do an engagement session beforehand.

Megan and Nathan met in college as rafting guides and water from the rivers was used in their wedding ceremony. So it was only fitting that their day after session took place in the river! It was freezing and they were troopers! Thank you so much guys!
