Caught in Action!

If there is one thing that I secretly love, it’s sifting through my second shooter’s photos and finding photos of myself caught in action.  Photos of  me interacting with brides and grooms on their wedding day is one of my thrills in life.  Hey, I’m easy to please.  Call me narcissistic, but I think it’s more about the love of documentation than the love of myself.  Since becoming a wedding photographer 7 years ago, I have compiled a folder with all the photos of me at weddings.  So I thought once a week for the next 7 weeks I would post 9 photos of me through the years to give you a behind the scenes look at me, Jenny Smith, caught in action.  Enjoy!polariod 9x9 01

Downtown Orange Engagement Photography | Angie & Jerry

A few weekends ago, I met Angie & Jerry in the historical district of downtown Orange to photograph their engagement session.  Angie knew she wanted something old, something a little gritty, with brick buildings and an antique feel.  This is really going to compliment their wedding locations, an old chapel in Tustin followed by the Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim.

The couple also play roller hockey together with friends and family, so the shoot was one part hockey, one part antique.  I LOVE it when people mention things like this!  Angie brought it up at our initial meeting and I went crazy!  I love to incorporate things that make shoots very personal to each couple.  This way the photos end up meaning more to them.  Enjoy!

Wedding Photography | Press Printed Cards | Products

I am so so so thrilled to show you the latest in a series of posts about the products I offer.  It is so great to be able to show clients that I can’t meet with in person my products and to have them here on my blog as a reference for clients new and old at any time!

These cards are my favorite!  If I could get every client to utilize them in some way, my job would be complete.  They are printed with such quality, on amazing papers, come with envelopes and provide such versatility, that I am so excited to share them here today!  Behold, the Alders Photography press printed card collection!
