Nicole thought she was going to a housewarming party. But obviously Broc knew otherwise. He took her to the third floor apartment. But no guests were there. Just lit candles, rose pedals, and the sound of love songs from an iPod. Broc professed his love, got down on one knee, and asked Nicole to marry him. Nicole took off her coat and said she’d think about it with a twinkle in her eye. But of course she said yes!
As their first act as an engaged couple, Broc and Nicole shared communion before toasting with Champaign, dancing a slow dance or two, and opening more gifts: matching jerseys because they make the perfect “team”. They even watched a slideshow Broc prepared of their relationship from the beginning to a new beginning–their engagement! Broc and Nicole, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of something so intimate and special to just you two. Blessings!
