Fourth of July | Underwater Photography

So I have this super secret crazy awesome engagement session that I am dying to post, but not before the invitations go out.  Until then I will give you a sort of sneak peek with a post about my impromptu fourth of july bash.  My husband and I planned a last minute bbq and pool party to celebrate the fourth of july.  And I’m glad we did!  With a roughly 25 person turn out, it was a blast.  And a great way to utilize my new underwater camera bag.  I bought this sucker for underwater trash the dress sessions or underwater engagement sessions, but it’s great to have for personal use as well!  The next time I go snorkeling, this bad boy is coming with me!  Stay tuned for the wedding related use of the bag!

Feast your eyes on the most gorgeous and Real Simple-esque cake eva!!  Meghan made it and yes, it tasted as good as it looks.

Oh yes, the dog Dashiell, had to be a part of the fun!

This collage is a strong argument for me to stay behind the camera.  While everyone else looks happy and excited, I look panicked and out of air.
