This next wedding is a doozy! With a gorgeous dress, a fabulous floral belt, a very photogenic wedding party, an excellent location, and a stunning couple, it was hard to take a bad photo at this wedding. Courtney and Abdul knew exactly what they wanted: a fun wedding day without stress, very casual photojournalistic coverage, and then a dance party all night long. And they got it. Courtney and Abdul even added my new favorite thing, a crooner extraodinaire. Yup. That’s. Right. Max Vontaine entertained the guests through the dinner hour with his old school swagger and Sintaraesque crooning. It was fabulous. And one of the couple’s favorite things. I love those personal touches! The evening was wonderful!
I cannot recommend the Padua Hills Theatre for a wedding enough if you want a fabulous location. There were plenty of wonderful places outside to take photos, a great ceremony location, fabulous food, and well conceived ballroom. I have eaten over 200 meals at weddings and let me tell you, this place is in the top 5. The on site chef (in his full size kitchen) sends the food out as he makes it, guaranteeing fresh and hot food. YUM. This location comes with custom lighting built in, making it very easy to avoid using a flash (something I try never to use). The lighting on both the dining room and dance floor was a photographer’s dream. And as a result, I was able to stretch my creativity and make awesome photos for Courtney and Abdul.
Courtney and Abdul, you are so special to me. Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding photos. Your love was so fun to watch that day and to document. It is so apparent. I an so happy for you! You two were such a pleasure to photograph! Enjoy!
