Chalkboard Engagement Session | Meghan & Josh

Josh asked Tyler and I to help him pick out an engagement ring for Meghan. We were thrilled to help of course! We did it one Saturday afternoon. We meandered through independent jewelry stores and ones at the mall, taking turns with our “spiel” and getting a feel for the rings out there. Early on in the day Tyler and I saw one. We knew it was the one. But Josh wanted to keep looking, which was a good idea. This is not a purchase to make lightly. We went to store after store, but for Josh nothing stood up to the one. So we went back and Josh got it. It clicked. It was the one.

Skip ahead a few months and Meghan and I went dress shopping. She truely had no idea what cut, fit, or style would suit her best so we just went to get a feel for it, anticipating trying on a lot of dresses. Meghan tried on her first dress. And I knew it was the one. But Meghan wanted to keep looking, which was a good idea. This is not a purchase to make lightly. She tried on dress after dress and nothing stood up to the one. So she went back to it and tried it on again and we bought it. It clicked. It was the one. Obviously these two are meant to be.
