I think I am not alone when I say that I love Pinterest. As a visual person who always had scraps of paper, magazine tear outs, tons of bookmarks online, etc, I can safely say Pinterest was created with me in mind. One thing in particular that I love about Pinterest is my ability to visually help and inspire my brides.
I have a constant board going of “Ideas for my Brides” of things I wish someone would do at their wedding one day so I can shoot it. Tangled/Melencholia lanterns?! Yes please! Click on the screen shot below to be taken to the board.
But I also really enjoy another part of Pinterest, which is being able to create a board with a bride for inspiration for her particular wedding. For instance, one of my brides this year mentioned that she is doing a vintage safari theme. Sign me up! I was able to then go and make a board of things that I thought would be fun to incorporate. I can also share the pinning abilities with her since she is also on Pinterest and she can pin more things as well. We can then comment and “like” pins from each other, leading to more brainstorming! If Catherine ended up wearing the necklace in the bottom right corner (cut off) I would DIE and go to heaven shooting that necklace. Again, click on the screen shot below to be taken to the board.
