Los Angeles Art District Engagement Session | Kristin & Sheldon

Kristin and Sheldon are adorable together.  Their engagement session was so much fun to shoot.  They told me they wanted an epic cityscape photo and so I immediately thought of the LA Art District, an area I had been wanting to explore.  The bridges near there are the perfect place to get that beautiful downtown view, and the eclectic graffiti walls and murals and general decor of the area was the perfect pairing.  We had a ton of fun walking around one afternoon.  It was perfectly sunny, breezy, and warm.  Hopefully their June wedding day will be the same.

They met as a function of school several years ago and have been through ups and downs during their relationship.  One particular down was Sheldon’s battle with cancer, but it was an opportunity for the couple to get even closer.  And we are all excited that he is obviously out of the worst of it.  Sheldon and Kristin love each other so uniquely.  With a loving shove here and a tease there, their engagement session was playful and so much fun to photograph.  It truly felt like they were on their own little date and I was just along for the ride.  Kristin and Sheldon, thank you so much for entrusting me with your photos.  Can’t wait for your wedding!  Enjoy!
