I am away in Las Vegas right now for a wedding photography convention (WPPI), but that’s not stopping me from sharing with you this amazing engagement session. Crystal and Bryan have been together since high school and their love story is so adorable. One Valentine’s Day Bryan went to the coffee shop where Crystal worked and presented her with 3 long stemmed roses and asked her to be his. They were inseparable during high school, but once they went to separate colleges, they broke up. But that didn’t stop them from talking almost every day. Through making different friends, dating different people, and going to different schools, they did what you do in college, explore and find yourself. But in the midst of that, they also found each other. And after graduation, got back together. And now, years later, a few days before another Valentine’s Day, we celebrated their future together in San Pedro.
I had never been down there before, but Crystal showed me all kinds of maps and photos online and I knew the shoot would be really fun. But I had no idea how awesome it would be, mostly because of these two. They are so laid back, easy going, in love, genuinely happy, and easy to laugh, that it made the shoot effortless. I did more than one of my happy dances during the afternoon. We started at the Korean Bell, then took the Trolley to the FanFare Fountain for the show and sunset. A wonderful date. Crystal and Bryan, you guys rock. Thanks for introducing me to your neck of the woods. Can’t wait for your wedding! Enjoy!
