WPPI | Las Vegas | 2012

Just a quick post to let you know I will be out of town for the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention in Las Vegas from Sunday February 19 – Wednesday February 22.  I am not bringing a computer and really want to focus on why I am there, so please be patient with me, as I will be getting back to people starting Thursday February 23.  This will be my third year at the convention and I am really excited for so many aspects of the trip.

Highlights to Look Forward to:

• Christian Photographers Unite:  Monday evening Christian photographers from around the world will gather for worship and fellowship.
• Platform Classes: In the past I have just attended to view the trade show floor to look for things to help out my business, but this year I am excited to be attending a few key note speakers, classes, and discussions with some of the industry’s leading photographers, planners, and designers.
• Trade Show: because really this is always amazing for me.  New gear, new services, and new products.  I have a list of things I am looking at this year and can’t wait to comb two convention center rooms full of photography and wedding stuff!

These photos were taken during the 2009 convention.  It was my first time to Las Vegas and it seemed like the perfect place to explore with a Holga!

This year I am not bringing my professional gear, but rather Instagramming it up, so check back for blog posts of snap shots of the convention!
